Cub & Co.

Cub & Co. Natural Grooming is a small, family owned business originating from Launceston, Tasmania that creates handmade natural grooming products for men and women.

Brad George, the founder (and chief product-maker), is a good friend and colleague. On the evening of launching Captured by Cal, Brad generously reached out to support the cause and has since posted multiple products to Hobart for me to photograph (and try!)

The Cub & Co. journey began when Brad was looking for hair products for his son. His search identified that a large majority of hair pastes, pomades, gels and sprays have extensive ingredient lists that are full of hard to pronounce chemicals. Understandably, Brad was hestitant to use such products on himself (let alone his children) and subsequently he set out to create a solution- and what a job he has done!

Brad’s mission is to curate high quality, natural hair products that you can confidently share with even the littlest member in the family.

My current go-to is the ‘Original Clay’. It has a lighweight, all-day hold, matte finish and smells better than my cologne!
